Instrument Endpins

The Bender endpins and buttons for violin, viola, cello and double bass

The endpieces and buttons for violin, viola, cello and doublebass by Klaus Bender are precision milled from solid aluminium. They have a fine thread machined on the tapered end, which increases the contact surface and allows for a particularly tight screw-fitting, minimizing mechanical losses during play.

The Bender endpins are available in a variety of materials. Each has its unique mechanical and sonic properties. For cello, there's carbon, aluminium, titanium and brass. For double bass, there's titanium and brass.

The endpieces are available in several diameters to match the existing tapered hole in the instrument. The fitting of the Bender endpin should be done by a violinmaker.
